Total Adoration
Sometime in the sixties Marx produced a line of figures that represented their idea of feminine perfection. The series was called "Campus Cuties". It struck me how these figures were objects that were meant to personify the "ideal" young woman and the what was considered perfection was so far removed from reality. In this assemblage piece I used the vintage figure repainted gold, a brass cherub figure, an ornate gold frame, and brass stars.
